My cheap, wonderful, friendly nearby liquor store is closed tonight for some unknown reason. I had to walk 13 extra blocks in the cold rain to the fancy liquor store to get $9.99-a-bottle breakup wine instead of the 2-for-$7 cheapo breakup wine that I wanted to drink while I cry and watch Law & Order and eat ice cream and cuddle with my cat. At least my roommates aren’t home.
